GARRETT McMULLIN

INSTRUCTOR

Garrett McMullin began his dance training in Moore, OK at 8 years old. He trained at a handful of studios across Oklahoma however he spent his most crucial years training under Penny Capps and Becca Newman at The Pointe Performing Arts Center. Garrett trained in all genres of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, acrobatics/tumbling, and pom. He achieved a variety of regional and national accolades throughout his time competing. Following his high school graduation, Garrett was accepted and planned on pursuing a degree in Commercial Dance at PACE University. However he decided to follow his passion and instead pursue a career in teaching dance. He has now been on faculty at The Pointe Performing Arts Center for over a year and has began forming a career as a choreographer. He is also a dance technique and tumbling teacher at Hype Fitness in Norman, OK. Garrett is a teacher and choreographer who loves challenging and pushing all dancers out of their comfort zones to be the best version of themselves!
